Isotope-level soil scanning for radioactive contamination
Radensys brings its radiation detection expertise to the ground beneath your feet. Our land sanitation system scans soil for radioactive contamination with the same precision that defines our port technology: not just detecting radiation, but identifying which isotopes are present.
The process is built for flexibility. A conveyor belt sets the soil layer to a defined thickness, calibrated to the required sensitivity and the soil type at hand. The soil then passes beneath our detector array, where scanning speed and measurement interval are fully adjustable. Higher sensitivity, finer resolution, faster throughput: each parameter is tuned to the demands of the site.
Conventional soil assessment relies on spot sampling: a limited number of samples pulled from the site and sent to a lab. It is slow, and everything between the sample points stays invisible. Our system scans the full volume of soil as it moves along the belt, leaving no blind spots and delivering results on site. Where sampling gives you a handful of data points, Radensys gives you the whole picture, and pinpoints exactly where the contamination sits so lab work can be targeted where it matters.
The result is a reliable, repeatable method for characterizing contaminated ground, turning raw radiological signals into clear, actionable data on exactly what is in the soil and where.
